Not long at all. Most groomers can get started in under 10 minutes. You can add your services, set your working hours, and begin booking appointments straight away. Tailly is built to be simple and straightforward, so you don't need any technical skills to get going.

Online client self-booking is coming soon. Right now, Tailly focuses on helping you manage bookings, clients, reminders, and your schedule quickly and easily. Client self-booking is one of our next major features and is currently in development. For now, you can create and manage all appointments yourself in just a few clicks.

Yes – Tailly automatically sends email reminders to your clients. Reminders are sent at three separate times: 7 days before the appointment, 2 days before, and 4 hours before. This helps reduce forgotten appointments and saves you from constantly chasing clients manually.

At the moment, Tailly is designed primarily for salon-based grooming businesses. While you can still access Tailly from any device (including your phone while out and about), dedicated mobile-groomer route planning and travel-based scheduling features are not supported.

Yes. Tailly works on any device with a web browser – phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. There's nothing to install. Just log in and manage your appointments wherever you are.

Not yet. Right now, Tailly focuses on scheduling, client management, reminders, and day-to-day organisation. Online payment processing is planned for a future update, but it isn't currently available. You can specify how much services will cost in Tailly so you know what to charge, but payment collection is done in person.

That's completely okay – many groomers start exactly the same way. Tailly is designed to feel like a simple digital diary, not complicated business software. You can move over gradually, continue working the way you already do, and start using helpful features like reminders and client history when you're ready. There's no need to change everything overnight.

Yes. If you already have client information stored elsewhere, we can help you move it into Tailly. Just email [email protected] and we'll happily help you transfer your existing data so you don't have to start from scratch.

Yes. Your client and appointment data is stored securely on the cloud and backed up automatically. Tailly uses modern security practices to keep your information safe, and only you (and anyone you authorise) can access your account.
